Afghan Cultural Society of Vancouver Island
The Afghan Cultural Society of Vancouver Island is a non-profit organization dedicated to the well-being of all Afghans on Vancouver Island including Afghan refugees and landed immigrants. The Society works with other local, provincial, and federal agencies to promote the livelihood of Afghans on Vancouver Island.
Additionally, the Society directly supports Afghan women, orphans, and the poor in Afghanistan through fundraising activities. 100% of the funds go directly to those in need.
Organizations and individuals who would like to sponsor Afghan refugees can consult the Society on a variety of topics including completing sponsorship application, screening of applicants, and connecting sponsors with other organizations and individual interested in sponsoring Afghan refugees.
